Course Outline
In ANY healthcare institution, the possibility of a cardiac arrest incident is very real. “Code Blue” emergencies demand the highest level of proficiency from healthcare professionals. The Basic Cardiac Life Support and Automated External Defibrillator Course, or BCLS+AED Course, was designed to achieve this and is a key step toward obtaining BCLS certification.
The BCLS+AED course incorporates practice standards used in healthcare institutions, which differ from the lay rescuer, primarily with the inclusion of ventilations during resuscitation procedures. The course goes above the basic application of BCLS+AED skills and places a high emphasis on time-sensitivity, team dynamics and high-quality CPR – the key factors that can help drive better outcomes during resuscitation.
Earning your BCLS certification through this course ensures you are equipped with the critical life-saving skills required in medical emergencies. The BCLS+AED Course is accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation And First Aid Council and is recognised by the Singapore Medical Council, Singapore Nursing Board, and Singapore Dental Council, among other national agencies.

Classroom format – 1 day
Blended format – 4 hours online/ 4 hours in class
Refresher – 4 hours in class
